Eating Local for Passover

Preparing for Passover meals can be a challenge. Chef and author, Rachel Weston will share her recipe ideas for vegetarian, egg and meat based dishes that are easy to prepare in advance and delicious. Learn about local farmers that raise humanely pastured animals and grow gorgeous fruits, vegetables and herbs. Products made by New Jersey artisan food producers and wineries will also be suggested. With these tips, you can relax and feel good about what you will be serving your family and friends during Passover. Participants will be treated to a tasting of some of the items discussed and receive a handout of recipes and a local shopping guide. Book signing after the talk.
